Greetings everyone!

Happy summer – we are finally starting to see sunshine!  #byebyejunegloom

Mark’s musings from the vineyard – “the grapevines are growing like weeds and we are working around the clock to get the vines and wires “tidied” up!”  This is a lot of effort for 20,000 vines!  Mark has been ordering re-plants for some vines that experienced gopher damage and we are hoping to get the new vines in the ground over the next month.  Many of the grapes are now flowering and the smell in the vineyard is heavenly – some of the early flowering varietals like Viognier have already set fruit.  It’s hard to believe that we will be harvesting grapes in less than three months!

The new production building is getting its fire sprinklers and we are hoping soon after, we will begin installing the electrical and HVAC systems – always just in the nick of time for heat and harvest!

Serve yourself refrigerator – while we are waiting for our café to materialize, we will be installing a “serve yourself” refrigerator in the Tasting Room.  Look for it to the left of the fireplace; it’s designed to help you to curate your own cheese/charcuterie board and to hopefully, make your experience more enjoyable should you need something to nosh on.  There will be a selection of pre-cut cheeses, an Olli brand cheese, charcuterie and olive package, hummus, Genoa salami and non-alcoholic beverages (water, ice teas, sparkling waters, juices, etc.).  We are also stocking Prager Bakery baguettes, pita chips, Milton’s crackers, several gluten free cracker brands, dried apricots, fig preserves and Marcona almonds.
