Pronounced aromatics of ripe blackberries, cassis, spices, damp earth with hints of smoke. On the palate, the wine is luscious, dry, with medium + tannins, offers balanced acidity and is medium to full bodied. Layered with primary flavors of blackberry jam, dried blueberries, cassis and spice, as the wine unfolds, it unveils damp earth, vanilla and smoky undertones. This is a complex wine with a long lasting finish, marked by dark fruit, leather and subtle spice notes.
