On the palate, the wine is expansive, dry, with medium + tannins, medium acidity and is medium to full bodied. Primary flavors of blackberry jam, dried blueberries, cassis, raspberries give way to an earthiness with savory and spicy notes. This wine provides a long-lasting finish, marked by dark ripe black fruit, earth and subtle spice notes.
