This wine exhibits pronounced aromatics of ripe bosc pears, yellow peaches, and golden apples being the dominant fruit aromas. Honey and Meyer lemon peel add complexity. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium body and medium+ acidity. The finish is mouthwatering, with apple and tropical notes that linger.
Aromatics: medium, with pronounced ripe bosc pears and yellow peaches, golden apples, honey, Meyer lemon peel, green candy apples, hay, almond skin, hawthorn flowers and hint of vanilla
Palate: dry, medium bodied, medium + acidity, with palate amplifying aromatics, with the addition of tropical notes (pineapple and mango), stone fruit, lemon curd, marmalade with marzipan notes
Finish: medium finish, mouthwatering with apple and tropical notes
Food Pairings: a wide variety of foods from fish dishes to rich meats like lamb, Grenache Blanc particularly well suited with richly spiced dishes, whether they be of Moroccan, Spanish, Indian or Asian origin.
Cheese Pairings: Softer creamy cheeses including Brie, Camembert, Crème Fraîche, Fromage Blanc and medium-hard nutty cheeses such as Swiss, Emmentaler, Comté, Jarlsberg, Raclette and Gruyère
