This full-bodied white wine offers aromas of Asian pear, honey, orange rind and stone fruits. It is medium bodied with an oil texture that is rich on the palate, with an amazing complexity of grapefruit, apricots, apple compote, candied ginger and citrus curd. The finish is savory sweet with notes of vanilla, key lime and spice.
The Roussanne from Domaine and Camp4 were fermented in stainless steel tanks separately for about three weeks at 58-60 oF. The wine was left on fine lees without batonnage for ten weeks, then racked to 20% new French oak puncheons and to stainless steel barrels for nine months of aging before bottling.
